Detailed rules and controls
Scoring
- Each removal (a pair or a K) scores 10 × your combo: 10 for the first one after a draw, 20 for the second, and so on. Drawing or redealing resets the combo.
- Working up from the bottom, each row you clear earns 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 bonus points. Removing the top card clears the whole pyramid for 500 more.
- When you clear the pyramid, each card still unturned in the stock earns 20 points and each unused redeal earns 100.
Controls
- Tap a card (it lifts), then a card that adds up to 13 with it, and both are removed. Tap the selected card again to deselect it. Tap a K once to remove it.
- Once you select a card, the cards it can pair with glow softly. Covered cards are slightly darker and can't be used yet.
- A hint highlights a pair worth removing, or the stock when nothing can be removed. When a winning line is found, following the hints always clears the pyramid.
- Solvable deals only: before dealing, a solver checks that the pyramid can be cleared with the chosen number of passes. Deals it can't verify are skipped for the next one.
Frequently asked questions
Two pyramid cards can pair, and so can the drawn card. Which pair should go first?
The bottom row shows a 6, a 7 and a Q, and the drawn card is an A. Remove the adjacent 6 and 7 first to free the card they both cover, then pair the drawn A with the Q. When two pyramid cards can pair with each other, take that pair first and save the drawn card and the waste top for cards buried deep in the pyramid that only the stock can reach. A K can always be removed on its own.
