Four players, 13 cards each; partners sit across. Spades are always trump. You cannot lead spades until they are broken unless spades are all you have.
Bidding starts left of the dealer; each player bids 0–13 tricks. Zero is nil. Rooms may allow blind nil (±200).
Make your bid: 10× bid plus 1 per overtrick (bag). Miss it: −10× bid. Ten bags cost 100. Nil: +100/−100; blind nil ±200.
First team to 500 (300 in short rooms) with a strict lead wins; −200 loses. A full match often takes 40+ minutes.
15 seconds per turn; timeout auto-bids/plays, then trustee mode.
